Training Packages

We have 3 different training packages based on our program Seven Steps to a Dog Who Listens to You. See the About Us page for details of this program.

The Lifetime Guaranteed Solution, where we build a customized training plan for your dog, and work with you to execute it. This package includes a guarantee for the lifetime of your dog on the cues and behaviors included in the training plan.

Mentored Training, where we train you in how to train your dog, and then we return twice to help you through that training.

The Essentials, where we provide you with the information you need, and you train your dog following those instructions.

All these packages include telephone and email support for a period after our visit. See the Services (Texas) and Vermont pages for details of what is involved in each training package.

We are a professional dog training organization specializing in training and dealing with behavior problems for the family dog. We are based close to Dallas, in McKinney, Texas. We will travel to your home to work with you and your dog.

At Eureka! our purpose is to provide training for the whole dog. A well trained dog has a good relationship with all members of his/her family, the right amount of exercise, and a healthy diet. Therefore, we focus not only on training and problem solving, but also on activities for you and your dog as well as nutritional recommendations.

What do we do?

Our program, Seven Steps to a Dog Who Listens to You, is available in three different packages to suit your needs and your finances. We believe strongly that the ideal training environment is in your own home. However, we can also accommodate training in group classes or at our facility. See our services in Texas and in Vermont on the appropriate pages. We believe each dog needs slightly different training techniques to succeed, and we will help your dog to have fun while learning.

What’s with the name?

Eureka (‘Eureka!’, or ‘Heureka’; Greek) – Eureka is a famous exclamation attributed to Archimedes. Eureka has become an interjection which is used to celebrate a discovery, a breakthrough in understanding.

You will find out how easy it can be to understand why your dog does what s/he does.
